Install Bulbs
CAUTION |
Risk of chemical exposure. Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) when installing bulbs. A broken bulb may result in exposure to phosphor powder dust and to elemental mercury vapor. The phosphor contains thallium, which can be absorbed through the skin or inhaled. |

Risk of electric shock. Do not install the bulbs while the UVCA 3000 is connected to a power source. |
The UVCA 3000 requires nine 36-watt UV bulbs. The figure below shows the position of each type of bulb. When installing bulbs, refer to this figure for location and type of bulb.
Step-by-step:
1. Open the access door.
2. Install the first bulb. Secure it in place by twisting the bulb ½ turn clockwise.
3. Repeat Step 2 for all nine bulbs.
Install Bulb Guards

A broken bulb may result in exposure to phosphor powder dust and to elemental mercury vapor. The phosphor contains thallium, which can be absorbed through the skin or inhaled. |
The UVCA 3000 includes 3 bulb guards to protect the bulbs on the right, left, and top sides of the curing chamber.
Step-by-step:
1. Open the access door.
2. Snap the ends of the bulb guard into the holders:
3. Repeat Step 2 for all three bulb guards.
Install Turntable
Step-by-step:
1. Open the access door.
2. Mount the turntable on the bottom plate.
Connect Power Cable
1. Connect the power cable to the I/O panel.
2. Connect the other end of the power cable to a stable outlet.
Turn On
1. Press the power button on the front of the UVCA 3000.
→ When the system has completed the startup procedure, the UVCA 3000 starts.
Important: The exhaust fans on the UVCA 3000 top panel are active only during a curing cycle. Powering on the unit does not activate the fans.
