After you have added your model to the platform, you can change its size in two ways:
- by changing its dimensions along the X, Y, or Z-axis.
- by changing its scale coefficient.
Resizing the Model
Resing a model allows you to change its size for one of the axes only or along all the axes at once by inserting a certain dimension value.
1. Click the → A dialog box shown on the right opens. 2. Enter the required dimensions. You can use the + and – buttons or the scroll button on your mouse to set the dimensions. → The model dimensions are changed. |

The default measurement unit is mm. To change the measurement unit:
1. Click icon.
2. Select Preferences | Measurement Units | Set Inches or Millimeters.
3. Click Apply.
Rescaling the Model
Rescaling allows you to enlarge or reduce the model size along all the axes proportionally by changing the scale coefficient. By default, the model scale coefficient is set to 1.0.
1. Click → A dialog box shown on the right opens. 2. Enter the required scale coefficient into the corresponding field. Use the + and – buttons or the scroll-wheel on your mouse to set the required scale coefficient.
→ The scale factor is changed and the system shows the model size in mm or inches after scaling. |
